EIPA Launches MELS Alumni Website – Strengthening the Community of European Legal Professionals

Neuigkeiten

The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is proud to announce the official launch of the MELS Alumni Community, including a dedicated online website for graduates of the Master of European Legal Studies (MELS Online). The platform connects alumni from across Europe and beyond, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and lifelong learning in the field of European Union law.

The MELS Alumni Network is more than a platform – it is a dynamic community. It enables former students to exchange knowledge, share expertise, stay up to date with legal developments, and build meaningful professional connections. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with fellow graduates or support the next generation of European legal experts, the Alumni Website offers a central hub for engagement.

About the MELS Programme

The Master of European Legal Studies (MELS Online) is a unique two-year bilingual (English and French) programme delivered fully online in partnership with the Université de Lorraine in France. Participants who complete the programme are awarded a French Master II degree: Master en études européennes – spécialité Droit de l’Union européenne.

MELS is designed for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of EU law while balancing their careers. The programme offers:

  • 120 ECTS credits across two academic years
  • Monthly academic weekends (Thursday evening to Saturday)
  • A combination of live online sessions, recorded lectures, and interactive learning tools
  • A structured curriculum focused on both theoretical foundations and practical application
  • A flexible e-learning platform supporting asynchronous learning and ongoing engagement

Developed in collaboration with the Centre Européen Universitaire (CEU), the programme provides both an introduction to European integration and increasing specialisation in key areas of EU law.
