Valerie Frey

Valerie Frey is the Acting Head of the Governance Indicators and Performance Division in the OECD Directorate for Public Governance, overseeing the OECD Survey on Drivers of Trust in Government Institutions, the Government at a Glance series, and the programme of work on delivering public administrative services. She most recently led the Social Risks Unit in the OECD’s Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, where she oversaw projects on public opinion on economic risks and governance, modernising social protection systems, and gender equality. Valerie has also worked as an adjunct professor in economics at Sciences Po, as a research associate at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University, and as a consultant for the World Bank. She holds a PhD from Yale University.
