It actively promotes the exchange of ideas, best practices, and mutual learning, equipping public sector professionals with the tools to address complex challenges and drive transformation.

Policy Briefings: Insights for Public Sector Innovation
As part of its knowledge-sharing activities, EPSA has produced five policy briefings addressing key areas of public sector innovation. The briefings provide a thorough understanding of contemporary challenges, highlight opportunities for development, and offer practical recommendations for fostering innovation. They focus on diverse topics, including sustainability, collaborative governance, and artificial intelligence, ensuring a broad spectrum of insights to guide policymakers and practitioners.

Webinars: Facilitating Cross-Border Collaboration
Between April and October, the EPSA team hosted six webinars, attracting over 300 participants from across Europe. The sessions created a platform for dialogue among experts and public sector professionals, facilitating the exchange of insights on diverse topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, and law enforcement innovation. With recordings made available, the knowledge shared in these sessions continues to benefit a broader audience.

Workshops: Practical Tools for Driving Change
Three face-to-face workshops in Maastricht further enriched the knowledge-sharing efforts. The sessions were designed to equip leaders with practical tools for addressing key challenges in areas like change management, collaborative governance, and behavioural science. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions and activities, gaining strategies to drive innovation and enhance collaboration within their organisations.

Best Practices Database: A Resource for Innovation
The EPSA best practices database now features 470 projects from previous editions, and an interactive dashboard. This resource allows public sector professionals to access proven strategies and initiatives, providing inspiration and guidance for tackling contemporary challenges in public administration.

Supported by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) and other key partners, the EPSA 2023-24 exemplifies a commitment to fostering excellence and collaboration across the public sector. By creating opportunities for shared learning and providing practical tools for innovation, the EPSA continues to drive progress and strengthen public administration across Europe.
