Wim Marneffe

Hasselt University

Wim Marneffe is full professor at Hasselt University (faculty of Applied Economics). He is leading a research group focused on policy evaluation and policy management.

Since 2007, Wim has worked on better regulation, impact assessments and policy evaluation studies and is specialised in the quantification methods for Impact Assessments. Moreover, he has been working with EIPA on impact assessment projects and the quantification of policy impact since 2012.

In addition to his deep academic knowledge on these topics, Wim has extensive practical experience in this field which proves vital for the professional trainings he has provided here at EIPA since 2014.

Wim holds a PhD in Applied Economics from Hasselt University
