Jordi del Bas

Senior evaluation trainer

Jordi Del Bas is an economist specialised in private sector development and has worked as a senior independent evaluator for international organisations (European Commission, several United Nations agencies, and the World Bank, to name a few), in more than fifty countries worldwide.

He is accredited as a senior evaluation trainer by the Secretariat General of the European Commission, by the head of the International Development at the Global Business Research Centre of the EADA Business School in Barcelona, and by the Adjunct Faculty of the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. He is a visiting professor for the Masters in Development course at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and he also conducts lectures for the Global Corporate Strategy course for Executive MBA students at the Nanjing University Business School in China.

Since 2016, Jordi Del Bas has been working with EIPA on the design and delivery of a course on Evaluation, and its use in the European Commission. The course is targeted towards officials involved in the evaluation of European programmes and policies across Directorate Generals.
