Professional experience

Sarah Jamal is an Associate Professor at the University of Paris Panthéon Assas and deputy director of the C.R.D.H. She is a specialist in public international law and human rights. She teaches international law, international human rights law, and international and European health law.
Her research work focuses on international and European human rights law. In particular, she directs the journal Droits Fondamentaux as well as several columns (two columns on the decision of the treaty bodies published in Droits Fondamentaux and A.F.D.I., as well as a column on the case law of the European Court of Human Rights published in the Journal of International Law (Clunet)).
She is particularly interested in the theme of social media from the perspective of the law of evidence or by analysing the regulation of digital platforms, as well as in the theme of environmental protection – including the fight against climate change – in the field of human rights.
