Mattia Belli, CFA, is an Automation Expert at the European Court of Auditors (ECA), where he works at the intersection of AI, data analytics, and automation to support the digital transformation of audit activities. He develops and maintains Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data solutions, contributes to the integration of AI-driven technologies into audit processes, and leads data analytics initiatives. He also delivers training to ECA staff on data analytics and automation tools.

Before joining the ECA, Mattia held roles at Euroclear, a leading financial market infrastructure provider, and Deloitte, where he developed technology-driven solutions supporting fraud detection, financial compliance, and anti-money laundering activities.

Mattia holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering with a specialisation in Decision Models and is a CFA Charterholder.
