Wim Smets is a data professional with extensive experience in the consulting industry, being part of business analysis and software engineering roles in big projects around data warehousing, business intelligence and business transformational changes, and across diverse sectors including Retail, Banking, Finance, and Government. Over the last 9 years, he has served as the business analyst of the Arachne project.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Leuven, an Advanced Master’s degree in Applied Informatics from EHSAL Brussels, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Leuven.
