Martin Unfried
EU environmental, regional and cross-border policies

Martin Unfried (DE) is Deborderator (Senior Researcher) at the Institute for Transnational and Euregional Cross border Cooperation and Mobility / ITEM at the Maastricht University, Faculty of Law.
Before his current position he worked as an expert at EIPA for nearly 25 years, in the field of EU environmental, regional and cross-border policies. He is involved in learning activities on EU affairs.
He wrote many studies on regions and EU multi-level governance and developed for instance (with an EIPA team) a scoreboard of multi-level governance for the Committee of the Regions.
