Valeria holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Palermo (Italy) and has been working as a Project Manager at Université Côte d’Azur since 2017. In this role, she assists the Center for Modeling, Simulation, and Interactions (MSI) by coordinating its activities, ensuring their visibility, and broadening their reach. MSI focuses primarily on data science, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence, with applications in fields as diverse as biology, physics, archeology, and linguistics.
Combining her philosophical background with her daily support to scientific research projects in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Valeria has cultivated a strong interest in Digital Ethics. In 2023, she broadened her perspective at the KU Leuven Summer School on the Law, Ethics, and Policy of AI, and later joined the inaugural edition of DEO4PA – Digital Ethics Officer for Public Administration, to continue exploring the ethical challenges of digital innovation.
