Riccardo Castellana is the Cybersecurity Principal Consultant at Almaviva de Belgique, a Brussels-based IT services consulting firm.

In this role, Mr Castellana guides organisations through the complexities of cybersecurity and data protection, ensuring they have the necessary capabilities to protect and defend themselves against an ever-evolving threat landscape.

Together with his colleagues at Almaviva de Belgique, he has implemented information security governance frameworks, conducted complex risk assessments, developed security programmes, and critical incident response capabilities.

Before joining Almaviva de Belgique, Mr Castellana worked with Capgemini Australia, supporting critical infrastructure clients, as well as organisations such as the University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Health Department.

He holds a postgraduate degree in business from Curtin University, Australia, has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Australian Institute of Management, and the Company Directors Course. Additionally, he holds certifications from Cisco, PRINCE2, ISC2, and other industry-recognised bodies.
