Meet Italo Benedini, the most experienced CAF trainer and practitioner we can think of. With a wealth of experience spanning many years as a Quality Manager at Italy’s leading manufacturer of Telecommunications systems, Italo’s journey into the realm of Total Quality Management systems began. As an expert, trainer, and assessor, Italo deeply engaged in the EFQM Excellence Model, where his expertise flourished.

Expanding his horizons, Italo became proficient in various other systems:

• EFQM Excellence Model
• Models for Italian Innovation and Safety Awards
• GetItFair Sustainability Model by the Italian association Diligentia ETS
• CAF Model, where his collaboration as an expert with Italian National Organizers and the Italian CAF Resource Center is invaluable.

Italo’s contributions to the evolution of the CAF Model are extensive, having participated in its revision for CAF 2008, CAF 2014, and CAF 2020. He also played a pivotal role in establishing the CAF External Feedback Recognition Process in 2009-10. Currently, Italo is actively engaged in the core working group for the revision of the CAF External Feedback Procedure, coordinated by the European CAF Resource Centre, further solidifying his status as a trailblazer in the field.
