Professional experience

Guido Fara is a Senior Auditor with over 10 years of experience at the European Court of Auditors. He currently serves as attaché in the private office of a Member of the Court. Previously, he worked as lead auditor for several performance audits and reviews focusing mainly on mobility and transport. He is a registered journalist, certified public accountant and legal auditor. He published articles on EU-related topics in specialised magazines and regularly delivers training and participates in events organised by international organisations and public bodies.

Before joining the ECA, he received his undergraduate and MSc degrees in Economics from Bocconi University, Milan, and a MA in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges.
