Clarissa Checchi

European Union External Action (EEAS)

Clarissa Checchi is a Cybersecurity Team Coordinator at the European Union External Action Service (EEAS) – Civilian Operations Headquarters.

She has a background in International Cooperation and Security.

Since 2019, she has worked at the European Commission DIGIT-CERT.EU in cybersecurity, first within the human risk management and security awareness sphere to then migrate to the more technical side of cyber.

Among others, she is a certified risk manager and security awareness programme manager at the Belgian Cybersecurity Coalition, and GIAC-GISF certified information security analyst.

Since 2023, she has been working at the Civilian Operations Headquarters of the EEAS to oversee cybersecurity and incidents coordination and response across civilian CSDP Missions and operations.

She is team coordinator for cybersecurity and a proud member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the Women4Cyber Italy chapter.
