Processing submitted tax returns is a annual challenge for the SRS, and it is a service that still requires a great deal of human resources to provide. The first step in upgrading the service was the development of the corresponding e-service and enhancing it with an automated processing solution is the next step towards evolving the service to, perhaps, be fully automated in the future.

As far as the tax payer is concerned, speed, accessibility and quality of the service holds the highest value, and it is these specific goals, among others, the SRS aimed to achieve with the project, and we believe that we were sucessful.

We are positive that the principle of automating certain processes to provide a better quality service for our clients will continue to be a cornerstone for SRS in the future.

We believe that other entities should continue to look for ways of automating processes and services the same way we do. Although it can be difficult and expensive to keep up with technology, which is ever evolving, it is the future everyone should look forward to.
