Satoko Nakayama has over 20 years of experience at the Federal Public Service Finance, currently working within the Belgian General Administration of Customs and Excise, a key division of FPS Finance. Her main responsibilities cover the financial & budgetary team, the procurement of customs equipment, and Research & Development.

She holds a Master’s in Finance and Trade, with a specialization in European Tax Law. Throughout her career, she has taken on key leadership roles, including managing the SME’s Administration at the Belgian Tax Administration during its reorganisation process and heading the catering department of FPS Finance. Her extensive expertise in change management, finance, taxation, and administration makes her a valuable asset to the organisation. Satoko believes in the power of innovative change and has successfully headed several transformation projects within the Federal Public Service Finance.
