Marco Ongaro

On 1 November 2019, Marco Ongaro took up position as the Director-General of EIPA in Maastricht. Marco is also a Visiting Professor for Digital Data Analytics at the Louvain School of Management (BE) since 2016, and volunteers as a coach for young entrepreneurs.

Between 2003 and 2016, Marco was working for Wolters Kluwer in the legal and tax information, education and services industry. At the very early stages of the digital revolution of this industry, first as Vice President Strategy Europe and later as Vice President Global Legal & Regulatory Product Portfolio, he has been at the forefront of the company’s end-to-end digital transformation for over 12 years. Earlier on he had been working as an engineer as well as for Kearney, a strategy and management consulting firm with assignments in Milan and Paris. Marco holds an engineering degree as well as an MBA from Duke University, USA.
