Professional experience

Lorenzo Pasculli is Principal Research Fellow and Deputy Director at the Dawes Centre for Future Crime, University College London. He is also a Visiting Professor at Nebrija University in Madrid. Lorenzo’s research focuses on current and future developments in crime, crime prevention and criminal justice brought about by globalisation. In particular, his main research interests concern the relationships between science, technology and the law and the unintended criminogenic and corrupting effects of the law. Prior to joining UCL, Lorenzo held academic positions at Coventry University, Kingston University and the University of Padua. He also held visiting positions at the University of Oxford, Queen’s University Belfast, Columbia University, Fordham University, University of Adelaide, Florida International University, Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Istanbul.
