Kristian Abildskov

Kristian Abildskov is Head of Unit for Missions, Finance, and HR-IT at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. He coordinates the GSC’s participation in the inter-institutional HR Transformation programme and developed their first advanced HR analytics capacity as a pioneering project.

Since joining the organisation in 2005, he has held roles in recruitment, HR policy development, and career management, and later served as adviser to the Director-General for Organisational Development and Services.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in driving various modernisation initiatives, both culturally and digitally.
