Karin Dietl

Karin is a privacy professional and data protection compliance specialist, certified as a Data Privacy Solutions Engineer. She has worked as a data protection lawyer in Vienna for several years and has been involved in the digital economy since 2010. After passing the bar exam, Karin founded her agency “Value Design” to help companies and public authorities develop and implement digital compliance, risk management and digital ethics (CDR – Corporate Digital Responsibility) strategies. She is also a lecturer, speaker, and author of publications. In this capacity, she specialises in legal design and, in 2021, started the social business initiative ‘CDR Austria’, which is a platform for events such as the CDR Congress in Vienna, as well as a working group and training sessions.
