Integrity Pact in EU Cohesion Policy

Safeguarding and enhancing public trust in the management of EU Funds is of utmost importance. Integrity Pacts (IPs) are innovative tools that help prevent corruption in public procurement by involving civil society organisations (CSOs) in monitoring contracts between contracting authorities and bidders.This module introduces the Integrity Pact as a mechanism to strengthen transparency, accountability, and integrity in public procurement funded by EU Cohesion Policy 2021–2027. It walks you through the key phases of an Integrity Pact and includes case studies based on actual implementation experiences in EU Member States.The module includes six short video recordings.

Target group

The target group for the e-training includes:

  • Managing and audit authorities, intermediate bodies and relevant agencies, under Cohesion Policy;
  • Beneficiaries eligible for Structural Funds, the Cohesion Fund, CEF and IPA III;
  • auditors and consulting companies, academics;
  • RRF and other actors involved in EU funding programmes and projects

The training is organised by EIPA as part of a framework contract with DG REGIO of the European Commission.
