in a work context like the current one in which being smart is increasingly a necessity, creating a "Smart Working" project seemed like a challenge to collect with enthusiasm. First of all, to carry out a project of this type within an Public Administration, whose primary objective is to enhance the entrepreneurial economic fabric, means giving a concrete (and virtuous) example of the multiple advantages that the SW allows to obtain in the different organizational realities. Secondly, proposing SW in a context in which the motivational levers offered to its employees, even due to extra organizational constraints, are always smaller (contractual block, poor possibilities for horizontal and vertical progressions, blocking of hiring), meant having an excellent opportunities to increase employee satisfaction, improve their engagement with the organization and focus on a work logic based on objectives, performance quality and responsibility.

The financial sustainability of the project is good. In the future, we plan to replace obsolete fixed PCs with smart laptops so as to limit equipment costs.

The Chamber of Commerce was one of the first public administrations to introduce smart working. It was a starting point for all the other public administrations, also for all the advantages it found and spread due to the new managerial tool.
