CACIAF is an independent specialized permanent state authority for the implementation of the policy on counteracting corruption and the seizure of illegal assets and as such is entrusted with the obligation to organize and conduct trainings, seminars and information campaigns with anticorruption orientation.

The project ÒAnti-corruption training in kindergartensÓ is a kind of “citizenship lesson” for pre-school children.

The challenges to the project “Anticorruption training in kindergartens” are:

3. Changing the approach of the educational methods used;

4. Integrating anti-corruption education as a mandatory element of the education system;

5. Building trust in the education system as an effective tool for forming ethical behavioral standards.

The project "Anti-corruption training in kindergartens" can be multiplied on the territory of each municipality in the Republic of Bulgaria and in every kindergarten.

4. Favorable educational and social results at a later stage;

5. Adopting foreign behavior patterns and shaping the basis of a value system;

6. Raising awareness of the existence, causes and seriousness of corruption and threats it poses;

7. Validating education as a major tool for preventing corruption.

8. Creating a favorable environment for partnership with external structures for the educational institutions - non-governmental organizations;

9. Encourage pedagogues in childcare establishments to introduce anticorruption training through the creation of a Handbook;

10. The possibility of granting credits to the pedagogical staff who will take part in the teaching of anti-corruption training.

The project "Anti-corruption training in kindergartens" has the potential to start training courses in the country and abroad with direct use of the expertise of the team and the knowledge generated during its implementation.
