EIPA’s Scientific and Editorial Committee (SEC)
EIPA’s Scientific and Editorial Committee (SEC) ensures the academic quality, independence, and practical relevance of the institute’s research and publications. It is chaired by Dr Florin Coman-Kund, with Dr Claudio Matera, Christoph Klika, and Miranda Lovell-Prescod serving as members.
Core Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: The SEC reviews and validates EIPA’s papers, blogs, studies, and reports, ensuring they meet rigorous scientific standards
- Publication Oversight: It supervises the dissemination of research addressing key issues in EU governance, public management, and European law
- Strategic Direction: The committee helps bridge the gap between academic theory and the daily realities of public administration by integrating the institute’s practical training insights with scholarly analysis
