Miranda Lovell-Prescod

Public Policy Evaluation and Impact assessment
Miranda Lovell-Prescod joined EIPA Maastricht in 2021; she works as a Senior Research Officer in the field of Public Policy Evaluation and Impact assessment.
She develops and delivers sessions and courses on EU Better Regulation (BR), quantitative and qualitative analysis for stakeholder consultation, and the use of data and evidence in policy making training for European Commission staff. Moreover, she has been part of several research projects, including an ongoing multi-year benchmarking project for the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and a training manual on best practices in mainstreaming fundamental rights in impact assessments. Before joining EIPA she worked at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance on social protection, multi-dimensional poverty indices, conditional-cash transfer programmes, and the effects of corruption on human development.
Miranda has a Double MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT and a MSc in Economics from the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University.
