1 full-time position (35 hours per week)

located in Maastricht or remotely

The position

You will provide support in the training and research activities of EIPA in the areas related to EU legislation and policy in Justice and Home Affairs. In particular, the intern will be involved in the following activities:

  • Research in support of the preparation of seminars and other projects
  • Assisting in building case studies and learning exercises
  • Assistance in the preparation of presentations, in cooperation with project leaders
  • Helping in developing visual materials and implementing online methodologies
  • Assistance with organizing and running training activities
  • Qualitative and quantitative research
  • Other related tasks.

 

Job requirements

  • Be enrolled as a student at a university in the EU
  • At least three years of successfully completed university education in one of the following fields, in order of preference: European Studies, Political Sciences, International and European Law
  • A good familiarity with EU institutions and policy processes
  • Good language and communication skills in English (C2 or mother tongue). Competence in other EU languages is considered an advantage
  • Very good computer skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Preferably the nationality of one of the EU Member States, of the candidate countries to the EU, or one of the EEA countries, Switzerland or the United Kingdom
