EIPA is currently expanding its portfolio of online training activities and we are looking for temporary support to facilitate this expansion. We therefore have a temporary vacancy (three months) for a :

Student Assistant
20 hours per week

Based in Maastricht (NL)
Starting as soon as possible

The position

You will aid the online service delivery of our Experts (conducted via a range of channels like Zoom, WebEx,..) by providing vital support functions such as: fulfilling the moderators role during our webinar sessions (management of participants, first-line technical assistance,..); assist in the preparation of remote teaching material (e.g. interactive Whiteboard slides); and delivering valuable input/feedback towards the optimization of our online offering.

Job requirements

The successful candidate(s) will be enrolled as a student at a university in the EU and will have:

    • At least one year of successfully completed university education;
    • Field of Studies:
      • European Studies, European Law or International Relations
        (with a strong interest in Communications)
      • Communication and Multimedia Design (with a strong interest and basics in the mechanics of the European Institutions)
    • Understanding of EU integration and knowledge of the EU institutions;
    • Fluency in English;
    • Ability to keep a cool head under pressure, while staying focused on customer satisfaction;
    • Swift learner with strong computer skills and experience with remote teaching/meeting platforms as e.g. Zoom, WebEx, … ;
    • Preferably the nationality of one of the EU Member States, of the candidate countries to the EU, or one of the EEA countries.
