Dr Godefroy de Moncuit joined EIPA Luxembourg – European Centre for Judges and Lawyers in 2021, where he is currently a lecturer (Maitre de conférences) in EU law. He is also a guest lecturer at University Paris II Pantheon Assas where he teaches EU Economic Law and Digital Law. His researches mainly focus on European Law, Competition Law, Law & Economics, Technology Law, and Artificial Intelligence Law.
Before joining EIPA, Godefroy has successfully passed the Paris bar exam and worked at Dentons law firm. He then joined Utrecht University School of Law as a postdoctoral fellow while working as a part-time lecturer at Paris Nanterre University and Centrale Supelec (Paris-Saclay University).
Godefroy holds a PhD in European Competition law. He also obtained the french qualification of “Maître de conférences” delivered by the National Council of Universities (Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation).
Godefroy has received several academic distinctions: he has published a book, which has been awarded the Concurrences Best PhD Award and the international Jacques Lassier Prize. He was also granted the IOS research ‘seed money’ funding (round 13) which rewards an ‘innovative research proposal of high academic quality with a significant social impact’.
