Secondo Sabbioni

Secondo Sabbioni is the Data Protection Officer and Head of the Data Protection Service at the European Parliament since 2012.

Previous to this position, he has worked as senior Record Manager in the same EU Institution. Before the career in the European Institutions, he worked for a local public administration in Italy.

He studied Political Sciences at the Catholic University of Milan (IT) and he obtained a PhD in European economic History at the University of Verona (IT).

He is sometimes invited as expert at data protection events.
