Olivia Brown was a Research Assistant at EIPA, Maastricht. Her fields of research include communication and behavioural techniques applied to European and international negotiations, EU governance and EU institutions. She has been assisting with various large-scale projects on behalf of the European Commission, European Parliament and Member State governments. In addition, she has supported the digital transition to online content and facilitated numerous contract courses for the European Commission, European Parliament, EUROPOL, the European External Action Service and eu-LISA, while also conducting research into online learning strategies.
Olivia has a BA (Hon) in European Studies and German from University College Cork, writing her thesis on populist theory, and an MA in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University, where she specialised in EU Employment and Social Affairs, and EU Health Policy.
