Professional experience

Michele Alessandrini (IT) is permanent policy analyst of t33 and a senior expert in European studies and evaluation with specific competence in statistics and quantitative analysis.

Michele has contributed to a long series of reports and file notes prepared for the European Committee of the Regions since 2011. Between 2014 and 2015 he worked for the technical assistance for the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme of Marche Region in Italy. Michele is currently providing technical assistance to the fi-compass platform of the European Investment Bank (www.fi-compass.eu) with the focus on financial instruments for the European Social Fund and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Since 2009 Michele has collaborated also with SOAS University in London as a distance learning teacher for “The International Monetary Fund and Economic Policy” course. Michele has also published several articles in international economic reviews in the fields of international trade, economic growth and development, Indian economy, and labour economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics (University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy).
