Martijn Pluim

Martijn Pluim has been EIPA’s Programme Director since September 2023. Martijn brings an extensive network in EU Institutions, UN and other multilateral organisations, EU Member States and partner countries, combined with expertise in project development, acquisition and management to EIPA.

Martijn has already established a significant presence within the European policy-making community, building up his career at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna. Starting as Programme and Project Manager in 1999 he has been Director of the Migration Dialogues and Cooperation Directorate, leading around 350 people in 30 offices, since 2016.
