Marica Ferri

Marica Ferri is Head of Sector, Support to Practice at the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction. Before joining the agency as an expert in epidemiology and evidence-based medicine, Marica coordinated the Cochrane Drugs and Alcohol Group and was in charge of developing evidence-based guidelines for public health at the Public Health Agency of Rome, Italy.

She is doctor in public health and has a master’s in systematic reviewing of evidence and epidemiology. A passionate life-long learner, Marica is currently enrolled in the Executive Master for Management of International Organisations (EMMIO) at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan.

As a manager, Marica believes in inclusiveness and she loves cultivating talents and creating a safe, creative and collaborative environment for staff members.
