Professional experience
Luuk is a highly experienced auditor specialising in large projects of the Dutch government. During the last 6 years he has focused on Defence, with audits on the procurement of the Joint Strike Fighter, submarines, armoured vehicles and helicopters. Luuk has done also many audits on readiness of the armed forces, both at home and in military missions abroad. He has extensive experience in the governance, process organisation and implementation of large projects. He is an expert on life cycle costing (LCC).
Luuk lectures at the Netherlands Defence Academy and in special courses for the State Academy for Finance and Economy. He has advised many Supreme Audit institutions in Europe, America and Africa in audits on a wide variety of topics.
