Digital Law & Policy: Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity

Professional experience

Laura joined EIPA Maastricht in October 2023 as an intern and then worked as a student assistant until August 2024 for the Data Protection, and Artificial Intelligence Cybersecurity Team.

She holds an LLM in European Law with a specialisation in Public Law and Governance at Maastricht University. She also holds an LL.B Law Degree in Spanish Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administration Sciences from Autonomous University of Madrid.

She has been working in assisting and facilitating the design and implementation of the training portfolio and research projects related to data protection and Digital Policy.

Her main areas of research and interest are EU regulations related to EU Digital Policy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity.
