Danilo Rončević
Government of the Republic of Serbia
Danilo Rončević, PhD was born in Mannheim, Germany. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Kragujevac, after which he immediately enrolled in postgraduate studies specializing in labor law. In 2011. he defended his doctoral dissertation, titled “The Application of International Labour Organization Conventions in National Legislation”.
Rončević’s career encompasses the corporate, public and academic realms. He initiated his professional journey with Mercedes-Benz Yugoslavia and only two years later was elected as a member of the company’s board of directors. In 2006, he embarked on his academic career as an assistant teaching “Business Law” at the Faculty of Commerce and Banking. By 2011, he attained the title of Assistant Professor and in 2015, he continued his academic path at the Faculty of Management in Sremski Karlovci, where he became an Associate Professor in early 2016. He has served as a conciliator at the Republic Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labor Disputes since 2012. and has been reappointed twice.
In 2016, the Government of the Republic of Serbia appointed him as Director of the Human Resources Management Service (HRMS). In his capacity as CEO, Danilo Rončević is responsible for implementing and managing strategic initiatives related to human resource development, talent acquisition and workforce optimization. His leadership ensures that the government’s workforce operates efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the citizens and the administration.
Since 2018, he has been a member of the High Civil Service Council, further contributing to public administration and human resource management in Serbia.
Danilo Rončević, PhD is an accomplished author with numerous scholarly works published in leading international and domestic journals.
