Begoña Lazaro Alvarez

Begoña began her career in the Public Sector at the Spanish Medicines Agency (AEMPS) in 2011 where she was introduced to the world of quality and, in 2016, she joined the State Agency for Evaluation and Quality (AEVAL). Currently she is the Head of the Quality Area in the General Directorate of Public Governance (DGGP) of the Spanish Finance and Civil Servant Ministry, working to promote the improvement of management and innovation in public organizations. 

Begoña is an accredited evaluator of EFQM model, has experience in CAF and Ibero-American models, and act as CAF National Correspondent in the EUPAN CAF Network since 2016. She is Delegate of the EUPAN innovation group and National Contact Point at the OECD Innovation Observatory (OPSI).
