This workshop introduces participants to key concepts of behavioural science and how they can be applied to foster innovation in the public sector. Through an examination of human behaviour and decision-making processes, you will discover how to overcome biases that hinder innovation, to better understand users and beneficiaries of public services, and design solutions that are more effectively adopted by their intended audience.
Interactive sessions will provide hands-on experience in applying behavioural insights to real-world innovation challenges.
The workshop is designed to introduce you to the concepts of behavioural science and how they can be applied to foster a culture of innovation in the public sector.

Lars Tummers
Professor Lars Tummers is an expert on leadership and behavior change. He is a chaired professor at Utrecht University. Previously, he worked at PwC and Erasmus University Rotterdam. He also was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford and the University of California, Berkeley.
Lars is the co-author of the books “Understanding Public Leadership” (with Paul ‘t Hart), which has been published by Bloomsbury.
