Expert SCO

Luca Santin is an expert in Simplified Cost Options (SCO).

Since 2010 he has supported the implementation of SCOs with the development of the methodological and administrative documents for all phases of the implementation process.

Luca has helped to define the methodology for calculating the standard costs and the key variables concerning the application of SCOs, the pre-requisites for doing the applications, and the training of the public officers responsible for both implementing the SCOs and controlling the operations impacted by them.

Luca is the author of the case study ‘The implementation of simplified cost options with the European Social Fund in Italy’, which was published in 2014 by the European Commission.
