Lecturer
Dr Sabina Kajnč joined EIPA in June 2009 as Lecturer in the Unit "European Decision-Making". Sabina obtained a BA in International Relations from the University of Ljubljana and a MA in European Studies from the Freie Universität Berlin, as well as a doctoral degree from the University of Ljubljana in 2006. In spring 2008 she was visiting research fellow at the Instituto Universitario de Estudios Europeos in Barcelona, and from autumn 2008 to spring 2009 she was visiting research fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies. There she conducted research on the cooperation of small and middle sized Member States in European foreign policy, within the European Foreign and Security Policy Studies Programme, which was funded by Compagnia di San Paolo (2007-2009). She has conducted research, including an evaluation study, on the 2008 Slovenian EU Presidency, as well as publishing analysis, expert and academic papers on the subject.

Dr Sabina Kajnč a rejoint l’IEAP en juin 2009 en qualité de chargée de cours dans l’unité « Processus décisionnel européen ». Titulaire d’une licence en relations internationales de l’Université de Ljubljana et d’un Master en études européennes de la Freie Universität Berlin, elle obtenu en 2006 son doctorat à l’Université de Ljubljana. Au printemps 2008, elle a été chercheuse invitée à l’Instituto Universitario de Estudios Europeos de Barcelone, puis de l’automne 2008 au printemps 2009 elle a été chercheuse invitée au Centre for European Policy Studies de Bruxelles, où elle a mené une recherche sur la coopération des petits et moyens Etats membres en matière de politique étrangère européenne, au titre du programme « European Foreign and Security Policy Studies ». Cette recherche était financée par Compagnia di San Paolo (2007-2009). Elle a en outre réalisé des travaux de recherche, y compris une étude d’évaluation, sur la Présidence slovène de l’UE en 2008, et publié des analyses, études et articles sur le sujet.
