Senior Lecturer
Wolfgang Koeth is a Senior Lecturer in EU External Relations, Enlargement Policies and CFSP at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht. Before joining EIPA in 2009, Mr Koeth was working in the European Commission Office in Pristina (Kosovo), where he was Deputy Head of Office and in charge of implementing the EC’s assistance in the Rule of Law sector. Prior to the 2004 enlargement, he worked as a Political Advisor and Programme Manager within the EC Delegation in Vilnius (Lithuania) and as a Lecturer in European Affairs at the University of Vilnius. He was also a Parliamentary Assistant in the European Parliament. Mr Koeth is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies at the Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg. He also holds a degree in Russian Studies from the French National Institute of Eastern Languages and Cultures (INALCO) in Paris, and a degree in French and German Comparative Studies from the Nouvelle Sorbonne.

Wolfgang Koeth est maître de conférences à l’Institut européen d’administration publique de Maastricht, spécialisé dans le domaine des relations extérieures de l’UE, des politiques d’élargissement et de la PESC. Avant de rejoindre l’IEAP en 2009, il travaillait au Bureau de liaison de la Commission européenne à Pristina (Kosovo), où il occupait le poste de chef de bureau adjoint et était chargé de la mise en œuvre de l’assistance de la CE dans le domaine de l’Etat de droit. Avant l’élargissement de 2004, Wolfgang Koeth a travaillé comme conseiller politique et directeur de programme à la délégation de la CE à Vilnius (Lituanie) et en qualité de chargé de cours en affaires européennes à l’Université de Vilnius. Il a également été assistant parlementaire au Parlement européen. Wolfgang Koeth est diplômé de l’Institut d’études politiques de l’Université Robert Schuman à Strasbourg. Il possède également un diplôme d’études russes de l’Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO) à Paris et une licence franco-allemande de l’Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
