Arriving at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem)

Brussels - Maastricht - Brussels by train:
There are good train connections between Brussels and Maastricht. Please note that the trains run more regularly during the day then they do early in the morning or later in the evening. Go to www.b-europe.com for the exact time schedules. Insert “Bruxelles-Nat-Aeroport [B]” in the box “from” and then “Maastricht (nl) [B]” in the box “to”.

The journey takes approximately 2 hrs and a return ticket costs approx. € 40 (2nd class) or € 60 (1st class) and a one-way ticket approx. € 20 (2nd class) or € 30 (1st class). Please note that a return ticket is valid for 2 months.

Brussels - Maastricht - Brussels by taxi:
EIPA has a corporate agreement with “Airport Service Hasselt”, this taxi service will bring you to and from Maastricht for € 95,- one way (from/to Brussels Airport). Please note that we need to make these reservations well in advance → please contact your Programme Organiser for further arrangements.

Arriving at Amsterdam International Airport (Schiphol)

Schiphol - Maastricht - Schiphol by train:
Have a look at the English version of the website of the Dutch railway: www.ns.nl for the exact time schedules. Insert “Schiphol” in the box “from” and then “Maastricht” in the box “to”. This journey takes about 3 hours and a return ticket costs approx. € 39 (2nd class) or € 63 (1st class) and a one-way ticket approx. € 28 (2nd class) or € 45 (1st class). Please note that, unless specified otherwise, a return ticket in the Netherlands is only valid on the same day.

Schiphol - Maastricht - Schiphol by air:
Amsterdam Schiphol is a major airport with connections to most larger cities worldwide. There are flights to Maastricht-Aachen Airport which can be booked directly with your ticket to Amsterdam for a special rate.

Arriving at Maastricht Aachen airport

When arriving at Maastricht Aachen airport, the easiest way to go to the centre of Maastricht is by taking a taxi. The taxi fare is approx. € 40.

You can also take a bus (no. 61) to the centre of Maastricht (market place or railway station). However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that buses do not run very frequently late in the evening or early in the morning and in the weekends and on public holidays.
