Welcome to the eEurope Awards

The eEurope Awards has in the period 2003 to 2005 given recognition to innovative initiatives in the areas of eGovernment and eHealth within Europe.

The overall goal of the eEurope Awards has been the promotion of good practice among the Member States of the enlarged European Union, the candidate countries as well as the EFTA countries. This has facilitated the sharing of experience and mutual learning from each other in order to meet the Lisbon targets and make Europe the most competitive knowledge-based economy by 2010.

The best applications are selected for exhibition at a high-level conference on the topic. The most outstanding applications presented at the conference are awarded with the prestigious eEurope Awards Trophy.
